This year’s NDEAM theme will be "Celebrating Value and Talent," carrying the spirit of last year's celebration forward through 2026 in honor of America's 250th birthday. We will recognize the skills and contributions Americans with disabilities add to the nation’s workplaces, communities, and economy. This year’s observance will play an important role in the department’s year-long celebration of the American worker in support of the nationwide Freedom 250 initiative.
Ways to Participate in NDEAM
- Promote on Social Media: Use the hashtag #NDEAM to highlight activities and engagement during the 80th anniversary.
- Access Resources: Visit ODEP’s NDEAM webpage for tools and guidance on building inclusive workplaces.
- Share Campaign Materials: Distribute the ODEP NDEAM promotional video, which you can also watch below:
NDEAM 2026 will recognize the value and talent American workers with disabilities add to our workplaces and economy and highlight their achievements, both past and present. That’s the spirit behind this year’s official theme: “Celebrating Value and Talent.”
