This webinar provided an overview of the IT/Cybersecurity industry challenges, landscape and trends across workforce development, technology and training and business goals. Promising practices were shared by Closing the Skills Gap (CSG) grantee Arkansas Division of Higher Education about their Transforming IT Apprenticeships (TITAN) program. The webinar provided CSG grantees an opportunity to hear strategies that could potentially be integrated into their CSG work and allow for questions from grantees. Participants came away with more information about the:
- IT/Cybersecurity industry and potential for growth;
- Tools used for recruitment and engagement; and
- Steps needed to change the hiring and talent development processes.
