This webinar will discuss an additional grant opportunity to strengthen UI program integrity, including ID verification, fraud prevention and detection, and overpayment recovery efforts as described in UIPL No. 22-21, Change 2.
The webinar will articulate the Department’s vision of effective methods of ID verification, fraud prevention and detection, and overpayment recovery efforts, and highlight required and recommended integrity controls and overpayment recovery activities. The webinar will discuss the importance of evaluating data to ensure effectiveness and equity in the use of fraud prevention and ID verification solutions and services and the need to protect victims of UI ID fraud.
The webinar will also cover resources available to support states in these efforts and outline the allowable uses of funds provided under this grant opportunity, instructions for completing the grant application, and quarterly reporting requirements. This webinar is designed to include time for a question-and-answer session.
