Do I need to become a member of WorkforceGPS?
You can access most content without becoming a member.
However, creating a free account unlocks many useful features:

What should I do if I already have a WorkforceGPS account but cannot access it?
Try signing in with the email address you may have used previously, or use the Forgot Password option. Creating a second account will separate your saved content, event history, community memberships, and email preferences across multiple profiles. This information cannot be merged. How do I update the email address or password associated with my account?
Sign in to WorkforceGPS and open your profile's account email and password page to update your information. What should I do if I do not receive an account confirmation email?
Check your junk, spam, or quarantine folders. Make sure emails from WorkforceGPS are allowed by your email system, and add donotreply@workforcegps.org to your safe senders list. If you still do not receive the message, contact our support team.Contact Us For Additional Support

Why do I need a password?
To securely sign in and use features such as:

What should I do if I forgot my password?
Visit our Forgot Password page and follow the prompts.Forgot Password Page
- A temporary password will be sent to your account email.
- If you do not receive the temporary password within 15 minutes, check your junk, spam, or quarantine folders.
- Add donotreply@workforcegps.org to your safe senders list.
What should I do if my temporary password does not work?
Make sure you are using the most recent temporary password sent to your account email and that no extra spaces were copied with it. If the password still does not work, return to the Forgot Password page to request a new one. What types of emails does WorkforceGPS send?
We send two general types of emails:
- Subscription emails: Optional messages you can manage through your email preferences, such as:
- WorkforceGPS Updates: A digest of top curated content.WorkforceGPS Updates Preferences
- WorkforceGPS Events: Notices about webinars and events based on your profile's affiliations.WorkforceGPS Updates PreferencesProfile Affiliations Page
- Community Digest: Highlights curated from the communities you have joined.Community Email Updates PreferencesMy Communities Page
- Account and activity emails: Messages triggered by actions you take, such as account confirmations, password resets, event registration confirmations, event reminders, and post-event follow-up messages.
How do I change which subscription emails I receive or unsubscribe?
Visit your email preferences page to manage your subscriptions. Also, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of WorkforceGPS subscription emails.Email Preferences Page
- Uncheck the email types you no longer want to receive.
- Updating your preferences will not stop account or activity emails connected to actions you take on WorkforceGPS.
What should I do if I am not receiving a WorkforceGPS email?
Check your junk, spam, or quarantine folders and add donotreply@workforcegps.org to your safe senders list. For subscription emails, review your email preferences to confirm that the applicable email type is selected. For password resets, account confirmations, event registration messages, reminders, or other expected emails, make sure you are checking the email address associated with your WorkforceGPS account. Communities
What is a WorkforceGPS Community?
A WorkforceGPS Community is a curated space focused on specific topics, grants, or strategic initiatives. As a member of a community, you have access to targeted content that can help you stay informed about that community's mission. Each community manages its own content and publishes updates on its own schedule.Communities Page
How do I join a community?
Become a member of WorkforceGPS and then visit our Communities page and select any communities you would like to join.Communities Page
Note: Some communities are marked as private and require approval for membership. Private communities are limited to specific audiences, and membership is managed by the applicable community.
How do I manage or leave a community?
From your profile, you can review the communities you have joined and manage your community memberships.My Communities Page
Events
What types of events are listed on WorkforceGPS?
WorkforceGPS includes virtual events hosted by WorkforceGPS and third-party events hosted by other organizations. The event page identifies the event type and provides the applicable registration and support information.Virtual Events Library PageThird-Party Events Library Page
How can I attend a WorkforceGPS event?
You must first have a WorkforceGPS account and be signed in. On an event page, select the “+ Register” option.Registering For Our Webinars
Once registered:
- Select the “Add to Calendar” option and follow the prompts so you will be reminded about the event.
- You will receive a confirmation email from WorkforceGPS that also contains an option to add the event to your calendar.
- The day before the event, you will receive an automatic reminder email from WorkforceGPS.
- On the day of the event, you will be able to join 30 minutes before the event begins.Joining Our Webinars
How do I access events I registered for or attended?
From your profile, you can access all events for which you registered or that you attended.My Events Page
Where can I find more detailed information about an event?
Each event page includes a general Frequently Asked Questions section with additional guidance based on the type of event. These questions cover common topics such as registration, attendance, recordings and materials, event support, and whom to contact.
