A consolidated resource for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) available for Illinois students and educators.

The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) has a website that is focused on connecting students and educators with diverse and easily accessible STEAM opportunities.The site provides information on news, events, the educational community, gallery and categorized resources, including career exploration. This is the first site to provide a central location for the collaboration of resources.

This program will support STEAM programming for K-12 students in Illinois schools, particularly for those in lower income neighborhoods. It will prioritize programs that provide hands-on experience, with a focus on encouraging female students to enter STEAM fields.
