The Reentry Employment Opportunities (REO) Reentry Employment in Skilled Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, Registered Apprenticeships, and Training (RESTART) New Grantee Orientation is a 9-part webinar series over three days, September 15-17, 2026.
This series is designed to equip RESTART grantees with the knowledge and tools needed to manage and implement their awards successfully. Sessions will address the financial administration of the grant, including cost principles, allocation methods, and reporting requirements, alongside the performance expectations grantees are held to under WIOA, with particular attention to recidivism outcomes and Registered Apprenticeship enrollment across both youth and adult populations. The series will also draw on the experience of current REO grantees and federal staff to explore lessons learned across different grant models, offering practical guidance grounded in real-world implementation.
