Discover the vision for expanding sector strategies and understand key definitions and roles, including sector partnerships, strategies, and training programs. Before attending Session 1, ensure that you watch the Sector Strategies Framework Launch webcast to gain foundational insights. - Session 2: Launching Partnerships and Designing Solutions (September 17, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM ET)
Build capacity to implement sector partnerships and strategies through self-assessment, reflection, and peer learning. Explore the process from initiation to launch, validate data with employers, and connect key elements of the updated Framework with practical applications. Before Session 2, ensure you watch the Sector Strategies: Framework Introduction Webcast, the recording of Session 1, and review the first two sections of the Sector Strategies Implementation Guide which will become available here on September 4, 2024. - Session 3: Implementing Solutions, Measuring Success, and Sustaining and Scaling the Work (September 19, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM ET)
Focus on the implementation and continuous improvement of sector strategies. Discuss the creation of a coordinated implementation plan, establish feedback loops, and learn from a panel of local workforce development board intermediaries who share strategies for overcoming challenges in regional sector partnerships.
