U.S. DOL Artificial Intelligence Literacy Framework
About
Training and Employment Notice (TEN) No. 07-25 transmits the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy Framework to the public workforce system and education partners. The notice encourages states and local areas to use the framework when developing and delivering AI-related education and training.
The framework defines AI literacy and outlines foundational knowledge areas and instructional considerations to support effective AI education. It identifies AI literacy as relevant for workers, job seekers, students, and employers and emphasizes the importance of integrating AI skills into workforce and education programs.
